$49.99 This covers medical costs consultation review health status and possible toxicities. once you complete the intake a doctor will call you in 15 to 30 minutes. The consultation itself should take 15 to 20 minutes. If needed a prescription will be authorized for immediate fulfillment from the pharmacy, or pending possible test results.
$80 to $110 Chelation therapy with DMSA typically requires a 5-day treatment cycle, which is sometimes repeated up to 3 times based on your needs. Each 5-day cycle is priced at $110. EDTA is usually used for a longer term and costs $110 per month in suppository form or $80 to $150 per dose if injected.
$110 - $110 You can purchase a test on your own, without a consultation, or a practitioner will recommend a test for you based on your situation. The test most often used by pharmaCHELATION is #1, the Red Blood Cell Elements test because it shows both beneficial and toxic metals over a 120 day period. Imbalances in beneficial minerals can have the same symptoms as heavy metal toxicities.
$80 - $110 per cycle Each chelator is used differently. Acute exposure usually requires less chelation sessions than long-term accumulation.
- DMSA is often used 1-3 cycles, over a 2-3 month period.
- EDTA can be taken daily in suppository form for up to 3 months at a time, followed by a break for beneficial mineral restoration. Injected EDTA is done through an IV “drip” or “push” and it can be done weekly for 3 weeks at a time, followed by short breaks, for a total of 16 to 40 sessions.
- DMPS is usually administered via IV push once every 6 weeks for a total of 5 sessions. It can also be taken orally and by suppository.
Chelation therapy is usually not covered by insurance and is often paid for out-of-pocket. However, funds from a health savings account (HSA) or health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) can be available used with pharmaCHELATION.
Testing is usually covered if it is deemed “medically necessary.” Your insurance carrier will have a guide to its coverage of heavy metal testing a chelation. You can download a sample heavy metal test from the Testing Section and forward it to your insurance company to request authorization for reimbursement prior to purchasing. pharmaCHELATION cannot submit a claim for coverage at this time.
