PharmaChelation is a project of Pharmacy Innovations, a national, specialized health-technology pharmacy.
We provide access to a class of drugs called “chelators” (Kee-lay-tors) which are used to remove toxic heavy metals from humans. The process of using a chelator is called “chelation.” Heavy metal toxicity can be the result of long-term heavy metal accumulation, or an acute, immediate exposure. Often it can also be associated with an imbalance or diminishment of beneficial minerals.
Beneficial and toxic metal testing can be useful in determining
the most beneficial method of chelation, often requiring
individualized and customized pharmacy solutions and chelation
protocols, along with customized beneficial mineral
replenishment.
Testing and consultation are used to try to determine the
optimal options for individuals considering chelation.
Chelators such as DMSA require a prescription, which is provided
by the PharmaChelation Telemedicine Service. They can also be
received from your doctor. The prescription is then processed
by our pharmacists, who compound, package, and prepare it for
shipment.
